filmed in both Sausalito & in the post-subway-desecrated Mid-Market section of downtown San Francisco. The Grauman's Imperial (1914) playhouse/theater turned Market Street Theater (1986-2014) gentlemen's club's exteriors & abandoned interiors served as filming locations for this and other movies. The building was completely gutted in 2017 for condos despite its historical designation.
